Magic, mayhem and mistaken identities come to the stage in William Shakespeare's treasured romantic comedy of revelry, reunion and love.

THOM THOMAS, script writer for stage, TV and film, succumbed to acute leukemia in Los Angeles on December 2, 2015. Recently Thomas co-wrote with Iris Rainer Dart the book for Beaches, The Musical, adapted from Dart's popular novel. Beaches had a tryout in Chicago at the Drury Lane Theatre this past summer, and a Broadway transfer is pending availability of a theater. Currently Astrablu Media, Inc. holds the rights to Thomas's completed screenplay adaptation of the novel, Vanished, with production planned for spring of 2016.

Three local high school students will join multi-platinum selling, five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer Michael Feinstein in performance at Feinstein's at the Nikko in San Francisco on October 7-10. The young singers were national finalists in the 2015 Great American Songbook Academy, sponsored by the Great American Songbook Foundation.

Sound Street Productions presents the first full-length recording of Show Choir! - The Musical with new orchestrations by Assaf Gleizner, and under the musical direction of Kenneth Gartman. MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora, presents the last play of the 2015 season The Sound of a Voice by noted playwright, David Henry Hwang (best known for M. Butterfly, which received the 1988 Tony Award for Best Play and for Chinglish produced at Portland Center Stage)  on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m at PCS. Playwright David Henry Hwang will join the audience for a Skype talk at the October 17th  2pm performance.

Daniel Beaty, the multiple award winning writer & performer of Emergency and Through the Night returns to Omaha this month with Mr. Joy. Beloved characters from Emergency return with new stories to tell along with a host of new players. Mr. Joy is a Chinese American immigrant who has run a shoe shop in the heart of Harlem for the past 25 years when an unexpected occurrence causes several of his customers to reflect on the impact he has had on their lives through their shoes. What has happened to this community's joy and what will it take to reclaim it? Using Beaty's signature blend of comedy, poetry, music, and multi-character transformation, Mr. Joy is a hilarious and heart-warming exploration of one community's journey to heal in order to dream again and discover boundless joy.
