2013's critically acclaimed new play LAND OF OUR FATHERS by Chris Urch will transfer to Trafalgar Studio 2 between 3 September and 4 October. Depicting the dramatic two weeks of a community of Welsh miners trapped down a collapsed coalmine, the production is directed by Theatre503's Artistic Director Paul Robinson.

On Friday 7th February, Beckman Unicorn's critically acclaimed West End production of Great Expectations The Play will be released on DVD exactly one year after it was filmed and screened in cinemas across the UK

The acclaimed debut play by Chris Urch, a new writer supported by Theatre503 and championed by playwright Howard Brenton, has received two nominations from the Off West End Awards for Best Production and Best New Play. LAND OF OUR FATHERS has been described by Guardian critic, Michael Billington, as 'Undeniably Powerful, with Chris Urch being tipped as 'a name to watch'. The production is directed Artistic Director Paul Robinson, and runs at Theatre503, above The Latchmere in Battersea, until 12 October 2013.

Chris Urch - a new writer supported by Theatre503 and championed by playwright Howard Brenton - will premiere his debut full-length play LAND OF OUR FATHERS in September. Set during Thatcher's Britain and directed by Theatre503's Artistic Director Paul Robinson, the production will run at Theatre503, above The Latchmere in Battersea, between 18 September and 12 October 2013.

Great Expectations closes at the Vaudeville Theatre today, 30 March 2013, two months earlier than its original run date.

A new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations opened at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre on 6 February 2013. Reprising their roles from the play's recent, successful UK tour, Jack Ellis stars as Jaggers, Chris Ellison as Magwitch and Paula Wilcox as Miss Havisham. The cast of 14 also includes Paul Nivison as Adult Pip, Grace Rowe as Estella and Taylor Jay-Davies as Young Pip.

To celebrate the launch of The Dickens Legacy at the Gala Evening at London's Vaudeville Theatre, GREAT EXPECTATIONS will be screened live via satellite to more than 150 cinemas across the UK and Ireland, with a global cinema release including mainland Europe, Canada, USA, Asia and Australia.

Although it is Dickens' most popular novel and having previously had many incarnations, including as a film, a television drama and even a stage musical, this will be the first time there has ever been a production of GREAT EXPECTATIONS as a full-scale stage play in either the West End or on Broadway. As reported by the Daily Mail, Grace Rowe will star as 'Estella' in the new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations by Jo Clifford. The production has been touring the UK and will begin performances at the West End's Vaudeville Theatre today, February 1st.
