Ghostlight Records will release the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical WAR PAINT – starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole – in digital formats on Friday, May 26. The CD version will be available online and in stores in mid-July. The musical, currently running at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), played a sold-out run in Chicago last summer where it became the most successful show in Goodman Theatre's history. WAR PAINT is nominated for four 2017 Tony Awards, including “Best Actress in a Musical” for both of the leading ladies. Starting today, May 19, customers that pre-order the album via Apple Music will immediately receive the second single “If I'd Been A Man” – the stirring duet between LuPone and Ebersole – in addition to the previously available single “Back on Top.”

The new Broadway musical War Paint, which is currently in previews, will add a digital lottery beginning Tuesday, March 28.

Producers David Stone and Marc Platt today announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway musical, WAR PAINT.

Drama Desk and OBIE-winning Transport Group has announced that Tyne Daly (Master Class, Mothers and Sons, It Shoulda Been You, Rabbit Hole), Jason Danieley (The Visit, Chicago), Hannah Elless (Bright Star, Godspell), and Marc Kudisch (Hand to God, Finding Neverland) will join Richard Thomas ('The Americans,' You Can't Take it With You) in its concert of A Man of No Importance, which takes places Monday, December 5 at 8pm at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced new details for its upcoming global livestream, A Day in the Life at Lincoln Center, the daylong Facebook Live broadcast on October 7, 2016. The unprecedented live event will feature all 11 resident performing arts organizations at Lincoln Center. Drama Desk and OBIE-winning Transport Group will present Picnic and Come Back, Little Sheba: William Inge in Repertory, directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, two plays in rotating repertory as the centerpiece of its 2016-17 season.  Performances begin Thursday, February 23 and run through Sunday, April 23 at the Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street.  The opening night has been set for Sunday, March 26.
