Quintet of the Americas will present three Festive Sounds programs of commissions on December 14 at Church-in-the-Gardens, 50 Ascan Ave., Forest Hills, December 17 at Queens Public Library in Jackson Heights, and December 18 at The Center At Maple Grove Cemetery.

On December 9, 2022, acclaimed GRAMMY-winning choir The Crossing, led by Donald Nally, releases its 29th album Carols after a Plague, on New Focus Recordings (physical album available January 6, 2023).

Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Schenectady in 2023. The show will play Proctors from Tuesday, February 28 – Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Grammy Award-winning choir The Crossing's holiday tradition The Crossing @ Christmas returns with two concerts featuring the world premiere of Ochre by Caroline Shaw alongside Mass Transmission by Mason Bates on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Rittenhouse Square (co-presented by Penn Live Arts) and on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill.

The Civilians is presenting the newest members of The R&D Group, marking the Group’s 12th season. The R&D Group is comprised of playwrights, composers, and directors who work together as a writing group for nine months to develop new plays and musicals.

Eddie Cooper, Lilli Cooper and Jennifer Sánchez will join Santino Fontana for Red Bull Theater's all-star benefit performance of Your Own Thing, the 1968 hit Off-Broadway rock musical suggested by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. This one-night-only performance will take place Monday December 12th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space.
