Melissa Errico to 'Sing Sondheim' in Fall Encore at Feinstein's/54 Below Tonight

After a sold-out engagement earlier this year, Tony Award-nominated singer, actress and writer Melissa Errico will return to Feinstein's/54 Below tonight and tomorrow, November 17 & 18 at 7pm with her acclaimed concert 'Melissa Errico Sings Sondheim,' lending her gorgeous voice to the music & lyrics of Stephen Sondheim.

Stephen Schwartz Single 'Testimony' to Benefit Anti-Bullying Workshops in NYC Schools

Judith Clurman, Silas Brown, Essential Voices and Tony & Grammy Award-winning producer Van Dean (Broadway Records) announced today the release of 'Testimony,' a new single written by award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) with proceeds benefiting anti-bullying workshops in New York City Public Schools.

Brooklyn Music School Presents CHOREOGRAPHERS AND COMPOSERS COLLABORATE

Five choreographers, Artis Smith, Germaine Salsberg, Kevin Predmore, Traci Stanfield and Nicole Ohr, will collaborate with current and graduated Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music composers for a program of new contemporary, modern, and tap dances, performed by 25+ dancers, each dance set to an original composition by a different composer - Yuriy Lehki, Daniel Rote, Jacob Szilagi, and Sean Vigneau-Britt. The program will also feature repertory from Smith and Salsberg ('Full Moon Waxing' and 'Down the Rabbit Hole'). The two 2 performances, Saturday December 2nd at the Brooklyn Music School, is a presentation of Artis Smith and Germaine Salsberg, artistic directors, and The Department of Kinesiology and Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College.

Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, concludes its week-long workshop of Ayodele Casel's DIARY OF A TAP DANCER V.4, directed by Torya Beard at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor) with a benefit performance tonight, November 16, hosted by Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Acclaimed conductor Gerard Schwarz music director of the Emmy Award-winning All-Star Orchestra will take the podium and conduct The Orchestra Now (T?N) for a program titled Bruckner's Romantic Symphony in Manhattan at Peter Norton Symphony Space on Sunday, November 19, as part of the Around Town series of free concerts. The program is also presented at the Fisher Center at Bard College on Saturday, November 18.

Kinan Azmeh Premieres Songs for DAYS TO COME Volume 2 at Symphony Space

Syrian clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh described as intensely soulful by the New York Times and spellbinding by the New Yorker returns to Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia on November 30, 2017 for the world premiere of his newest song cycle, Songs for Days to Come, Volume 2, commissioned by St Urban Salon series.
