The final 16 Broadway performances of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID are sold out, with cancellations and day-of standing room tickets the only means of seeing the show.

Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID begins its final three weeks of Broadway performances, playing its final performance on Sunday, August 30th after 50 previews and 685 performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street).

The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center today announces several additions to the creative team for Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure. According to producer Judith Lisi, president and CEO of TBPAC, Marguerite Derricks will choreograph the production and Ron Melrose will serve as music supervisor and provide vocal and dance arrangements as well as incidental music. Susan Hilferty, Neil Patel and Paul Gallo will design the costumes, sets and lights respectively, while Jon Weston will design the sound and Sven Ortel will design video and projections.

Disney Theatrical Productions presents Drew Seeley, star of 'Another Cinderella Story,' as Prince Eric in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Online sources are reporting that The Little Mermaid ensemble member Chelsea Morgan Stock has won the leading role of Ariel and will be replacing current star Sierra Boggess when Boggess leaves the production to create the role of Christine Daae in the upcoming sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, 'LOVE NEVER DIES'. Stock has some experience playing the lovelorn Ariel as she has understudied the role since the hit show opened on Broadway. Reports indicate that Chelsea Morgan Stock will take over in June 2009.
