Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) just announced Tony Award winner Gavin Creel (Hello, Dolly!, She Loves Me) will join two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie) in a special one-night-only Benefit Musical Performance of My One and Only, the award-winning musical comedy by Peter Stone and Timothy S. Mayer with music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin.

The New Group has just announced complete casting and the design team for Clueless, The Musical by Amy Heckerling.  This world premiere production, with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi, features Ephie Aardema, Lori Alan, Sara Andreas, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Dove Cameron, Will Connolly, Danielle Marie Gonzalez, Tessa Grady, Talya Groves, Chris Hoch, L'ogan J'ones, Darius Jordan Lee, Justin Mortelliti, Brett Thiele, Dave Thomas Brown and Zurin Villanueva; with Scenic Design by Beowulf Boritt; Costume Design by Amy Clark; Lighting Design by Jason Lyons; Sound Design by Gareth Owen; Projection Design by Darrel Maloney; Music Supervision, Arrangement and Orchestration by Ethan Popp and Music Direction by Matthew Smedal.  Previews begin November 20 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Tuesday, December 11.  A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through January 12 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

Central Park was the place to be yesterday, as theatre fans from all over gathered to celebrate the fourth annual Elsie Fest! Elsie Fest is a one-day outdoor music festival that celebrates the stars and songs from the stage and screen, giving festival goers a unique experience to their favorite musicals.

Kelli Barrett, star of such recent Broadway shows as Gettin' the Band Back Together and Dr. Zhivago, plus multi-award winning nightclub star Klea Blackhurst, have just been added to the all-star cast of this coming Saturday night's 17th Annual Broadway Unplugged at the Merkin Concert Hall. The cast and creative team of THE OTHER JOSH COHEN kicked off rehearsals with a celebration of National Plaid Day, a.k.a. "PLAIDURDAY" today, Friday October 5. The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed new musical Midnight at The Never Get, with book, music, and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Sam Bolen, by arrangement with Visceral Entertainment and Mark Cortale Productions.  Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast will feature Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J. Park City Institute announced its 21st season of Main Stage shows at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. The 2018-19 Season continues the Institute's mission to entertain, educate and illuminate, with a lineup of world-renowned dance companies, musicians, authors, thinkers, adventurers and leaders-both legendary and emerging.
