Carlisle Theatre Company to Present [title of show]

The Carlisle Theatre Company, the resident community theatre group of the Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center, presents the first production of its 2016 Season, [title of show].  This Tony nominated musical about two young songwriters in New York City trying to write a show about…well…two young songwriters in New York City trying to write a show is a backstage love letter to the theatre and the art of collaboration.

This., Side by Side by Susan Blackwell) will co-host Broadway Back to School, a benefit for the International Thespian Society's (ITS) initiatives to support theatre arts education for underserved students and schools. HAMILTON, Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical about America's 'the ten-dollar Founding Father without a father,' opened just last week at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. HAMILTON has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography 'Alexander Hamilton.'
