This Tony nominated musical about two young songwriters in New York City trying to write a show about…well…two young songwriters in New York City trying to write a show is a backstage love letter to the theatre and the art of collaboration.

The event will be presented as an evening of readings of a collection of six new short plays by actor and playwright WESLEY TAYLORto benefit The Actors Fund. The one-night-only event is set for Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7:30 pm at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Hunter Bell ([title of show], Now, Here. This., Found) and Susan Blackwell ([title of show], Now. Here. This., Side by Side by Susan Blackwell) will co-host Broadway Back to School, a benefit for the International Thespian Society's (ITS) initiatives to support theatre arts education for underserved students and schools. Broadway Back to School 2015 will be a fun-filled, fast-paced evening that includes cocktails, dinner, no long speeches, and appearances by Nicolette Robinson ('The Affair', 'Hart of Dixie', 'Perfect Couples'), Michael Urie (Buyer and Cellar, How to Succeed..., 'Ugly Betty', He's Way More Famous Than You), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening, Hello Again) as well as other stars of stage and screen, Thespian alumni, and friends.

HAMILTON, Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical about America's 'the ten-dollar Founding Father without a father,' opened just last week at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. HAMILTON has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography 'Alexander Hamilton.'
