Singer/Song writer Meg Flather brings together fellow singers on July 14 and September 14 at 4:00 pm at NYC's Don't Tell Mama, in a performance of her songs for A Cabaret Sisterhood.

A group of cabaret newcomers and veterans alike will join Meg Flather on July 14 and September 14 at Don't Tell Mama for MEG FLATHER SONGS: A CABARET SISTERHOOD, performing the work of the MAC and Bistro Award winner.

The Infinite Joy Cabaret Benefit features Carole Demas (original Sandy in Grease) and Sarah Rice (original Johanna in Sweeney Todd) alongside a talent-packed cast on Monday, July 15 at 7pm at Don't Tell Mama to help raise funds for The Joyful Heart Foundation to help stop domestic violence and sexual assault. The show is musically directed by multiple MAC and Bistro Award winning Tracy Stark.

Irrepressible singer-raconteur, Ira Lee Collings, has yielded to the will of the masses - and for a very good cause! His Naked - From The Neck Up is back by very popular demand during Gay Pride week as a fundraiser for SAGE, the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of elder lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) adults. The American Songbook Association just presented its first Annual Gala, The Joint Is Jumpin'!, a joyous celebration of contributions to the American Songbook by Black songwriters and notable singers. The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

New York-based Cabaret producer, performer, promoter, and former reviewer (for Cabaret Scenes Magazine and BroadwayWorld.com) Stephen Hanks is in the midst of a serious love-hate relationship. He loves the art form of Cabaret and hates the dramatic rise of voter suppression and white supremacy in America during the current Republican Party rule of all three branches of the United States Government. So with the November 2018 Midterm elections on the horizon, Hanks has decided to combine the objects of his love and his hate and channel that energy into political action on behalf of the Democratic and Progressive candidates running for the US Senate, the House of Representatives, and perhaps some state governorships in November.
