Peninsula Players Theatre will present a play reading of Joseph Zettelmaier's "Salvage" on Monday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at Bjorklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. 

In the past week, the arts in Canada have lost two bright lights in Stuart McLean and Richard McMillan. In the time-honoured theatrical tradition, the marquee lights of all four Mirvish Theatres - the Royal Alexandra, the Princess of Wales, the Ed Mirvish and the Panasonic - will have their lights dimmed at the traditional curtain time, 8 PM, today, February 22, 2017.

A room in a country house sings of those who have lived there over a span of seventy years. Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of DRACULA, the mystery-thriller about a young woman falling victim to a vampire, on Monday, November 16, at 7 p.m.  Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. The play is dramatized by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, from the novel by Bram Stoker.
