Jazz Lovers subscription packages are now available for 2018-19 Starrlight Jazz Series at Walton Arts Center. The new season features George Brooks' ASPADA; the John Patitucci Electric Guitar Quartet; Alfredo Rodriguez and Pedtiro Martinez Duo; Larry Fouldings, Peter Bernstein and Bill Stewart Trio; and Benny Green Trio with Veronica Swift.
The iHeartRadio Music Festival Returns To Las Vegas September 21 and 22

iHeartMedia announced today the return of the annual star-studded iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 21 and 22 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and its Daytime Stage, which will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Saturday, Sept. 22. The Daytime Stage will feature live performances by both popular and emerging artists including first-revealed performers Dua Lipa, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lil Uzi Vert, Dustin Lynch, Bazzi, Belly, Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots and Greta Van Fleet with more to be announced. The main stage performance lineup for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival will be announced at a later date.
Jeff Beck Announces Additional Summer 2018 Shows

JEFF BECK will embark on a 6-week U.S. tour this summer including seven solo shows in addition to the previously announced “Stars Align Tour,” with Paul Rodgers and Ann Wilson of Heart. Joining BECK on this year's outing will be long-time collaborators, Vinnie Colaiuta (drums) and Jimmy Hall (vocals) as well as long touring partner, Rhonda Smith (bass) and newcomer, cellist Vanessa Freebairn-Smith.

Now about to turn thirteen, La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival, the ever-evolving spring fling of dance that exuberantly commandeers the various theaters of La MaMa each year, takes on yet another challenge in 2018. This year's festival showcases nine artists who take the road less travelled, daring to speak out in new and forceful ways about issues that trouble and inspire them: race, gender, religion, exclusion, each using the body to voice concerns in ways words cannot. Eleven companies, nine performances, including five premieres are on the boards. New this year will be two offsite events: panel discussions about artists and cultural identity, and screenings of rarely-seen films. The 2018 festival runs May 10-June 3.
