This holiday season, Broadway favorite Aaron Lazar will make his Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with his solo show, Broadway To Hollywood, on Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m. Critically-acclaimed on stage and screen, Lazar will sing some of his favorite songs from Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Broadway to Hollywood is written by Bruce Vilanch and Scott Mauro, a producer of the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen.

Northport's gorgeous John W. Engeman Theatre does it again with a stellar showing of theatre staple Man Of La Mancha, the second show of their dazzling 12th Season. This incarnation of the Tony winner, running through October 28th, is excellently directed by Peter Flynn and boasts an extraordinary cast. Long Island is certainly lucky to have this production lead by Broadway vets Janet Dacal, Richard Todd Adams, and Carlos Lopez.

Pop rock trio HANSON announce the release date for their highly anticipated double-album String Theory, which is set for November 9, available at major retailers. Premiering exclusively with NPR Music is 'Siren Call,' the first full song and video from the String Theory project, featuring the band performing with a 46-piece Orchestra. String Theory dates are already slated to reach fans across North America this fall, with the first leg of international tour dates in Europe and Australia set to be announced later this month. The landmark symphonic project, follows the band's sold out 25th Anniversary World Tour in 2017.

Lyric Unlimited, the branch of Lyric Opera devoted to education, community engagement, and new artistic initiatives, is excited to announce its latest opera for young people, Rhoda and the Fossil Hunt. Created especially for children 7-12 and their families by composer John Musto and librettist/director Eric Einhorn, this operatic adventure explores the crossroads of science and creativity from a child's perspective.

“20/20” investigates the tumultuous and allegedly emotionally abusive relationship of 18-year-old Riley Gaul and 16-year-old Emma Walker that turned deadly when she was shot in her sleep. ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts reports the story's bizarre details, including Riley's claim he accidentally killed Emma after firing a gun in an attempt to scare her into getting back together with him. The hour also features an exclusive interview with defense attorney Wesley Stone, who shares Riley's side of the story. “20/20” airs Friday, Sept. 14 (10:01–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

On Monday, November 5, 2018, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) will host its annual New York Fall Gala at Cipriani 42ndStreet in New York City.  At this year's gala, EJAF Founder Sir Elton John and Chairman David Furnish will honor Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, philanthropist Patricia Hearst, and long-time advocate Joe McMillan, CEO and Chairman of DDG, with EJAF's Enduring Vision Award.  Nine-time Grammy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter Sheryl Crow will be the special musical guest, and Bryan Stevenson, Founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and the new National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama, will be the featured speaker. The Martin Hayes Quartet, a new ensemble from one of Ireland's foremost musicians, will release its debut CD The Blue Room in conjunction with their first American tour in October 2018. Kicking off October 11 at New York City's Highline Ballroom, the tour will visit Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music, San Francisco'sFreight And Salvage and other notable U.S. venues along the way.
