Versatile vocalist/entertainer Patti Austin, and critically-acclaimed recording artist John Legend will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year's Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 22, at 8 pm. The two join previously announced inductees for this year, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of iconic rock band AEROSMITH.

Before introducing Music Director Gustavo Dudamel's Youth Orchestra LA (YOLA), a program inspired by Venezuela's revolutionary El Sistema, the versatile and sought-after Criss will perform a song, joined by the John Burroughs High School Powerhouse Show Choir. Following the introduction by Criss, a group of 65 to 70 of the top YOLA students across its two sites will perform the conclusion of Stravinsky's Firebird, conducted by Thomas Wilkins.

Beyoncé, one of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture, has created an original song, “RISE UP” for the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios motion picture, EPIC, for which she also voices one of the lead characters. The song, performed by Beyoncé, is written by Beyoncé and Sia and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. The track will be released by Columbia Records.

The songwriting team of Tyler and Perry have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and are the recipients of countless awards including four GRAMMYs, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards and 12 MTV Video Music Awards, among many other honors. Tyler and Perry first appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in May of 1999, with subsequent appearances in 2002, 2006 and last year's sold-out performance.
