DROP DEAD PERFECT to End Run This Weekend

Final performances of the acclaimed madcap comedy DROP DEAD PERFECT, starring the legendary Everett Quinton, will take place Oct 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th at Theatre at St. Clements (423 West 46 Street - between 9th and 10th Avenues) completing its limited engagement. The revival opened on August 23rd and received overwhelming rave reviews, critic picks, and audience accolades. DROP DEAD PERFECT is directed by Joe Brancato and written by Erasmus Fenn. Three Day Hangover Stages New Version of DRACULA, Beginning Tonight at New Home

THREE DAY HANGOVER -- the acclaimed interactive theater company -- move into their own venue this fall for two new productions filled with drinking, drama and fun. After staging several acclaimed shows in bars across the city, they will now present DRACULA and TARTUFFE in their new home, McAlpin Hall at The West Park Presbyterian Church on 86th and Amsterdam this fall. The New York City premiere of Steven Dietz's bold interpretation of the timeless classic DRACULA, directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, will run tonight, September 30 to October 17, and a brand new adaptation of Moliere's classic farce TARTUFFE, directed by Beth Gardiner, will be performed November 4 to November 21.

ACT to Stage World Premiere of BLOOMSDAY

ACT - A Contemporary Theatre is proud to present the world premiere of Bloomsday by Steven Dietz. Set against the backdrop of James Joyce's masterwork, Ulysses, an American man searches for the Irish woman who first captured his heart 30 years earlier while leading a "Bloomsday" walking tour in Dublin. We meet the couple at different points of their lives, as their younger and present selves. Told with humor, wit and heartache, this buoyant and moving new play commissioned by ACT brings the power and importance of living in the present to the light.

Utah Shakespeare Festival to Present DRACULA and THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA This Fall

The world's most famous vampire, a cigar-smoking man in a dress, and one of theatre's most loveable mutts can all be found this fall at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Five of the Festival's six summer shows will be closing the first week of September; but Charley's Aunt will continue its summer run, along with two additional offerings, Dracula and The Two Gentlemen of Verona, through October 31.

Barbara Chisholm to Lead ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT'S END at Arena Stage

"If life is a bowl of cherries, what am I doing in the pits?" Erma Bombeck, the award-winning humorist and syndicated columnist known for her wry and humorous take on family life, is the subject of the newest project from twin-sister journalists and playwrights Allison Engel and Margaret Engel-the world-premiere drama Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End debuting at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. The Engels reunite with director David Esbjornson (Arena Stage's Guess Who's Coming to Dinner) following their collaboration on the smash hit Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins, which starred Kathleen Turner in its celebrated 2012 run at Arena Stage.
