The Duluth Playhouse presents TEN NOVEMBER, written by Steven Dietz with music & lyrics by Eric Bain Peltoniemi. The production runs tonight, November 5-14, playing Thursday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at The Underground.

On November 10, 1975, the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald sank during a storm in Lake Superior, taking with it 29 men. Inspired by the Gordon Lightfoot song "The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald," this docu-drama is a compelling inquiry into the unanswered questions about that tragic night.

"A wonderful mixture of music, historical research, and personal reflection--all of it wrapped in the metaphorical power of sea literature and in the evocative emotion of achingly beautiful folk songs." - St. Paul Pioneer Press Dispatch

A special 40th anniversary performance will also take place on November 10 at 7:30pm in The Underground. A post-show reception and Q & A with TEN NOVEMBER's director, cast, and members of the community with ties to this tragic event will follow.

Directed by John Pokrzywinksi. John acted in TEN NOVEMBER when performed on the Playhouse back in 1995.
