LOCAL Theater Company, under the artistic leadership of Pesha Rudnick, will welcome three playwrights from across the country to Boulder for the 2016 LOCAL Lab New Play Fest. The festival of new plays and master classes will be held at eTown Hall Friday-Sunday, March 11-13, 2017.

The Highlighter Reading Series: New Plays / New Media, is raising $11,000 for this exciting new production.  The fundraiser is raising money to film a pilot to pitch, as a series, to various media outlets like PBS, Hulu, Amazon, etc.  Artistic Director Christian Haines (Shotz, Winner at NYC Fringe Fest) has partnered with Producing Artistic Director Mark Vashro (Sundance Grand Jury Prize for “Thunder Road”, Bike Against the Wind) to bring this series to life.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Broadway/Cabaret welcomes Steven J. Burge as God starting tonight, January 24. AN ACT OF GOD is extended, by popular demand, through April 8, 2017. Directed by Geoffrey Kent, AN ACT OF GOD also includes Steven Cole Hughes as Michael and Erik Sandvold as Gabriel. Jamie Grayson, joins the cast as understudy for God/Michael.

The Arvada Center will begin the New Year with Mary Chase's delightful play Harvey directed by Gavin Mayer. Harvey will run in the intimate Black Box Theater January 27 - February 22, 2015.

The regional premiere of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and adapted for the stage by Simon Levy, will open at the Arvada Center on April 29, 2014. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Previews are April 25, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m.. Due to popular demand three 1:00 p.m. matinees have been added on Thursdays, May 1, 8 and 15.

Off-Center's LIVED/RE-LIVED, the live realization of true Denver stories in collaboration with The Narrators, will play The Jones March 7, 14 and 21. Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 8:30pm
