Grammy Award-winning composer Mike Stoller, of the legendary songwriting team of Leiber & Stoller, has gone solo. Stoller just recently penned the music and lyrics to his latest song, "Charlotte," at the request of Anthony Foxx, mayor of Charlotte, NC. The song has just been recorded by the popular American jazz musician and Grammy Award-winning singer and producer, Concord Records recording artist Steve Tyrell, whose eight American standards albums have all achieved Top 5 status on Billboard's Jazz charts.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency which opened in 1999, has presented the top talents of pop and jazz, including Rosemary Clooney, Steve Tyrell, Barbara Cook, Glen Campbell, Diahann Carroll, Jane Krakowski, Lea Michele, Cyndi Lauper, Jason Mraz and Alan Cumming amongst hundreds of other performers. The venue's namesake Michael Feinstein appears there for a sold-out holiday engagement every year and had previously said that 'Feinstein's at Loews Regency is the perfect place to hear the greatest and most exciting interpreters of American popular song. In the upcoming season, the Cafe Carlyle will remain the only place in town to see Judy Collins, John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey, Steve Tyrell, and Woody Allen, as the great Andrea Marcovicci joins the venue's exclusive list of resident stars.

The Carlyle Hotel welcomed acclaimed vocalist Steve Tyrell back to the Cafe Carlyle for an exclusive two-week spring engagement last night, May 15, 2012. Playing through Saturday, May 26, 2012, Steve is celebrating the release of his newest collection "I'll Take Romance" (Concord Records), an homage to The Great American Songbook with tracks culled from several genres expressing the theme of romance.

The McCallum Theatre, the Coachella Valley's premiere theatrical venue, will celebrate its 25th Anniversary Season with a star-studded lineup of Classical Music, Jazz, Cabaret, Comedy and a Broadway Blockbuster Series which includes Rock of Ages, Dreamgirls and West Side Story. The season kicks off on August 31 with comedy legend Steve Martin joined by the Grammy nominated Steep Canyon Rangers. This wonderfully eclectic season also includes Pink Martini, Howie Mandell, Barbara Cook, Michael Feinstein, Elaine Page and Yo-Yo Ma, to name a few.

Feinstein's At Loews Regency will continue its Winter/Spring 2012 season with the debut joint engagement of director and vocalist Eric Michael Gillet and jazz singer La Tanya Hall.

One normally doesn't expect to see an operatic baritone put on an intimate jazz cabaret showcase, yet in Paulo Szot's Orange County debut, the audacious notion proves to be a surprisingly pleasant affair. The Carlyle Hotel has welcomed acclaimed vocalist Steve Tyrell back to the Cafe Carlyle for his seventh consecutive holiday engagement in the legendary New York venue. Playing through Saturday, December 31, 2011), backed by his swinging big band, Steve will once again offer an evening of standards from the Great American Songbook, holiday favorites, and selections from his many popular recordings in a program entitled This Time of the Year. "There is no place more romantic than New York City during the holidays," declares Mr. Tyrell. "Fortunately, I have a lot of wonderful songs to fit the occasion, and look forward to sharing them in the most romantic room in town." Managing Director Erich Steinbock says "Steve Tyrell at the Cafe Carlyle has become a holiday tradition in New York. He fits the room like a glove, and we look forward to welcoming him, as well all the guests who travel thousands of miles to catch one of his performances." Steve Tyrell: This Time of the Year will play Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45PM with additional shows Thursday - Saturday evenings at 10:45PM. The music charge is $105 ($80 bar) Tuesday - Thursday and $130 ($95 bar) Friday & Saturday. Dinner (required at all early performances) is served from 6:30PM.
