With another holiday season upon us, it's time to celebrate time honored traditions, and in keeping with what's become a New York tradition, Steve Tyrell is celebrating his 10th year as the holiday season entertainment at the swanky Café Caryle on the Upper East Side (through New Year's Eve). This Grammy award-winning record producer and singer is treating audiences to his latest cabaret show, That Lovin' Feelin', which features hit tunes that are the heartbeat of America.
Lots of times there are signature sounds. A voice seems like it was always meant to be heard in a certain venue. It's a perfect fit. At Yankee Stadium it was announcer Bob Sheppard, For CBS News it was Walter Cronkite and for the Carlyle it was Bobby Short. It will always be Steve Tyrell for this Father of The Brides.

The New York Post writes that author and lawyer Henry Bushkin is in New York City casting for his new Johnny Carson/TONIGHT SHOW musical, based on his book about the late-night host. Among the roles to be filled is that of Joan Rivers, legendary comedienne who passed away this week at the age of 81. No word yet on who is being considered, but we can't wait to find out who will take on the iconic part!
