Landau, the season six, Sinatra-singing winner of NBC Television's America's Got Talent program, has scheduled a highly anticipated concert appearance in Old Blue Eyes' New York stomping grounds, and fans of both crooners are snapping up tickets to see Landau interpret Sinatra and many other Great American Songbook vocalists with his unique take on the timeless classics. Landau will hit it big in the Big Apple, (no doubt singing "New York, New York") by performing an up-close, intimate late-night dinner show with his small jazz combo. Haley Swindal (actor, singer, and granddaughter of George Steinbrenner, the man that built the place). Steve Tyrell (handsome singer extraordinaire, fresh from his recently completed sold out Carlyle engagement). Jamie deRoy, supreme friend, Broadway Producer/entertainer (taking time out from counting all the nominations her shows have gathered). And of course, best friend for 44 years Eda Sorokoff.

Last night, 92Y celebrated songwriting legend Mike Stoller on the occasion of his 80th year with An 80th Birthday Celebration, a one-night-only Lyrics & Lyricists Special Event hosted by Paul Shaffer and directed and written by Randy Johnson (director/writer of A Night withJanis Joplin). Performers included: legendary vocal group The Coasters, along with artists Karen Akers,Mary Bridget Davies, Corky Hale, Maria Elena Infantino,Sally Kellerman, Bettye Lavette, Melissa Manchester, Billy Stritch, Tommy Tune and Steve Tyrell.
