Steve Steiner, Producing Artistic Director of the Ocean Professional Theatre Company, Ocean County's newest professional theatre has formed partnerships with local restaurants. Steve is no stranger to theater and his unique New Jersey shore tradition of "Dinner and a Show". Having been the artistic director of the Surflight Theater in Beach Haven, NJ for years, Steve has enjoyed 25 years of great theater and sharing this with audiences and local business as well.

Ocean Professional Theatre Company announces its Premiere Professional Season 2012 at the Beautiful new State of the Art Bengal Auditorium, 180 Bengal Drive in Barnegat, NJ, 08005. Headed up by Ocean County theatre veteran Steve Steiner, OPTC will be producing a full season of Broadway shows and new Mystery Play as well as four offerings specifically for children. Tickets range from $29.00-35.00 and Children's Theatre is $10.00.

On Monday, October 26, East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) received an 'Award of Achievement' at the New Jersey Theatre Alliances' (NJTA) annual Applause Award gala at Two River Theater Company in Red Bank, NJ. On the lovely stand-up oval glass award with a star in the corner, is the statement honoring ELTC 'for 30 years of celebrating America's heritage through productions and educational programs.'

The fascinating rhythms of the first great jazz age musical, George and Ira Gershwin's LADY, BE GOOD!, will kick off Surflight's 60th Summer season in Beach Haven, NJ. The affectionately charming plot of the classic musical, playing May 27 through June 14, may be old fashioned, but is still lovable in its simplicity.
