The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey opens exhibitions celebrating Gallery Aferro, a Newark-based arts organization.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts,  which brings audiences world-class theater, dance and music performed by many of the most sought-after artists,presents Chris Walden Big Band with a program that pays tribute to the "Rat Pack" era on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 7:30 pm,in the Bram Goldsmith Theater at The Wallis. Walden, a seven-time Grammy-nominated composer/arranger/conductor, has scored more than 40 feature and TV films and written more than 1,500 orchestral and big band arrangements for artists ranging from Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney and Barbra Streisand to Diana Krall and Rihanna, among many others.

Henegar Center announces cast for the Brevard premiere of Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The Henegar Center (Hank Rion, Artistic Director) today announced casting for Hand to God, an irreverent puppet comedy. Under the direction of Hank Rion, and written by Robert Askins, Hand to God will play September 9 - 25, 2016 on the Upstairs at The Henegar stage. Single tickets start at $20 for adults, $16 for students/seniors, and are on sale starting August 6 through the Box Office at 321.723.8698 and online at www.henegar.org. Steve Rossi, one half of the prolific comedy duo Allen & Rossi, which became a favorite of 'The Ed Sullivan Show' and other TV variety shows, died Sunday at age 82.

It isn't called 'The Longest Running Nightclub Act on Broadway' for nothing. Terese Genecco and her eight-piece 'Little Big Band' are back at The Iridium (1650 Broadway at 51st Street) to celebrate their 99th and 100th performances at the venue on Tuesday, May 20th (shows at 8:30 pm & 10:30 pm.) The multi-award-winning singer/bandleader/comedian continues to light up Times Square with her unique brand of 50's-era Rat Pack-inspired musical mayhem.

James Dybas will join the cast of the hit Baby Boomer musical revue 'DON'T LEAVE IT ALL TO YOUR CHILDREN! on July 1st, subbing for Ronnie Schell who is taking a leave to fulfill some concert engagements. Ronnie will re-join the cast in early fall. Mr. Dybas joins BARBARA MINKUS (Picon Pie), MARCIA RODD (The Last of the Red Hot Lovers) and STEVE ROSSI (of Allen & Rossi) in the revue written and directed by Saul Ilson (The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour) with musical staging by Rudy Tronto.

The new Baby Boomer musical comedy revue, 'DON'T LEAVE IT ALL TO YOUR CHILDREN!', written and directed by SAUL ILSON will begin previews on Wednesday, May 6th at 3 PM at off-Broadway's Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street. The revue stars stars BARBARA MINKUS ('Picon Pie'), MARCIA RODD ('The Last of the Red Hot Lovers'), STEVE ROSSI (of Allen & Rossi) and RONNIE SCHELL (Gomer Pyle). Musical numbers will be staged by Rudy Tronto.
