This holiday season, Rockwell: Table & Stage, invites Angelenos to spend the holidays with Hughes! "For The Record: John Hughes (Holiday Road)" will showcase signature songs and moments from John Hughes' holiday favorites Home Alone, Christmas Vacation and Planes, Trains & Automobiles and classics such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Weird Science.

LA's Rockwell: Table & Stage Concert Series Releases First Album FOR THE RECORD: TARANTINO Today

"For The Record: Tarantino," the new CD produced by Ad Astra Live, features a dynamic cast that breathes new life into director Quentin Tarantino's films with fresh adaptations from the music featured in the director's iconic body of work. The series highlights stars from stage, record and screen as well as new, rising performers embodying iconic movie characters and giving them new voices.

For The Record: Scorsese will begin previews tonight at Rockwell: Table & Stage. Martin Scorsese is widely regarded as one of the most significant and influential filmmakers of all time. This latest installment of the "For The Record" series will explore the themes Scorsese typically underlines in his work such as Italian American identity, Roman Catholic concepts of guilt and redemption, machismo, and modern crime, using signature songs and iconic scenes from the movies of the acclaimed director. This live, music concert will feature Scorsese's GoodFellas, The Departed, Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, Casino and many more.

Rockwell: Table & Stage's FOR THE RECORD: JOHN HUGHES Extends Through 9/29

With the newly remodeled live music space nearing completion and innovative menus still being unveiled, Rockwell: Table & Stage continues their exciting summer long "Soft Opening" by presenting a reconditioned version of For The Record: John Hughes. Joining the creative team are Barrett Foa (NCIS: Los Angeles, Broadway's Avenue Q) and Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club) who have contributed a reinvented script that focuses the show around John Hughes seminal coming of age teen flicks. This fresh look at the work of the famed-director will focus on signature songs and moments from John Hughes' classics The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off with additional songs included from Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, She's Having A Baby andNational Lampoon's Vacation.

FOR THE RECORD: BOOGIE NIGHTS Extends thru Aug 11

Stimulate your senses this summer as everything is growing over at Rockwell: Table & Stage with For The Record: Boogie Nights. The space at 1714 N Vermont Ave no longer operates under three distinct names but instead the entire venue will be referred to as Rockwell: Table & Stage and includes a bi-level outdoor dining space as well as a newly remodeled live music performance space. While renovations will continue throughout the summer, "For The Record" co-creators Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten choose to present a show adapted from the works of multiple Academy Award-nominated Los Angeles director Paul Thomas Andersonfor a summer experience that Angelenos will not easily forget. The show has just been extended through August 11, 2012.

Broadway leads Nicolas Dromard (Mary Poppins), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia) and Leah Horowitz (Follies) have joined 15 other Broadway and Hollywood performers in helping to kick off the inaugural season of the Transcendence Theatre Company's Broadway Under The Stars in Jack London State Park concert series this summer in Sonoma, California.
