Synchronicity Theatre to Present THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE

Synchronicity Theatre presents THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE, a new folk-rock musical, by Jeremiah Parker Hobbs and Jessica De Maria. This special event runs for one weekend only, June 17-19 at Synchronicity Theatre in Midtown Atlanta. Performances are at 8pm Friday and Saturday and 5pm Sunday.

David Calder, Mark Dexter & More to Join West End's THE AUDIENCE

Joining Kristin Scott Thomas as The Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience are David Calder as Winston Churchill, Mark Dexter as David Cameron, Michael Gould as John Major, Gordon Kennedy as Gordon Brown, Sylvestra Le Touzel as Margaret Thatcher, David Robb as Anthony Eden and Nicholas Woodeson as Harold Wilson. David Peart plays the Equerry, Charlotte Moore will play Bobo MacDonald and Private Secretary, Marnie Brighton, Madeleine Jackson-Smith and Izzy Meikle-Small will alternate in the role of Young Elizabeth and Matt Plumb and Harry Feltham will play the footmen.

Arcola Theatre Sets THE NIGHTMARES OF CARLOS FUENTES Post Show Talk, 24 July

Iraq Now And In The Future, an exciting post show talk, has been scheduled to run in conjunction with The Nightmares Of Carlos Fuentes, at the Arcola Theatre, on Thursday 24 July at 9.00pm. The talk is free with any ticket to The Nightmares Of Carlos Fuentes (July offer preview tickets £9).

THE NIGHTMARES OF CARLOS FUENTES To Run At Arcola, July 2014

The World Premiere of The Nightmares of Carlos Fuentes runs at the Arcola Theatre from 23 July until 16 August, with press night on 29 July 2014. Design is by Ellan Parry, lighting by Matt Eagland and sound by Andy Graham. Further casting will be announced shortly.

Rashid Razaq's THE NIGHTMARES OF CARLOS FUENTES to Run 23 July - 16 August at Arcola Theatre

Rashid Razaq's new play, The Nightmares of Carlos Fuentes, is based on an award-winning short story by Hassan Blasim. It is directed by Nicolas Kent, who was Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre from 1984-2012. The cast includes Nabil Elouahabi who was a leading actor in the Olivier nominated, and critically acclaimed trilogy, The Great Game: Afghanistan, which ran at the Tricycle Theatre and toured throughout the US. He also was a series regular in Channel 4's BAFTA nominated Top Boy (series two).

ASO's Talent Development Program to Host Alumni Legacy Concert, 1/4

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's groundbreaking Talent Development Program (TDP), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary during the Orchestra' s 2013-14 season, will host an Alumni Legacy Concert on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall in the Woodruff Arts Center.

Columbus Children's Theatre will present the regional premiere of No Dogs Allowed!, November 1 - 11, 2012 at the Columbus Children's Theatre located at 512 N Park Street. No Dogs Allowed!, with Book by Sonia Manzano, Music by Stephen Lawrence, Lyrics by Billy Aronson and based on the book by Sonia Manzano, will be directed by William Goldsmith.

Arena Stage to Produce RUINED In-the-Round, 4/22-6/5

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater will produce the first in-the-round staging of Ruined, the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama by Arena Stage Project Resident Lynn Nottage and directed by Resident Playwright Charles Randolph-Wright (Director of Arena Stage's Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies). Ruined is the stirring tale of Mama Nadi, a mother figure loosely based on Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage and Her Children, who provides refuge for women affected by civil war ravaging the Democratic Republic of Congo. The production features an expanded company with cast members playing live music and additional ensemble roles featuring University of Maryland students. Ruined runs April 22-June 5, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.
