                Music, dance and special events fill the Lackland Performing Arts Center as Centenary Stage Company announces its 2017 - 18 full season line up of events.  In addition to CSC's theatrical events the 2017 - 18 season will see the return of audience favorite series, such as, the January Thaw Music Festival and the annual Dance Fest all while hosting an array of exciting guest artists.

Barbara Maier Gustern will produce a cabaret benefit June 27th at 7PM at Pangea in New York City in memory of her husband, singer-actor Joe Gustern, who passed away April 17, 2017.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue - the indoor Event Gallery. This summer, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Ann Hampton Callaway on July 8, Mark Nadler on August 20, and Scott Samuelson and Jeanne MacDonald on September 16. Then this fall, PLAY: The Classics returns with the Manhattan Chamber Players on September 14, Borislav Strulev and Friends on September 28, and ZOFO on October 19. Tickets for both series go on-sale Friday, May 12 at 10:00 AM at BethelWoodsCenter.org.

The Carlyle, a Rosewood Hotel, has extended Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch's Sunday night spring residency at Bemelmans Bar. The duo's upcoming dates include April 30, May 7 and 21, June 4 and 11 from 9pm to Midnight.

TEG DAINTY announced today that due to overwhelming demand, GRAMMY Award winning singer songwriter k.d. lang will perform extra shows in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney as part of her Ingenue Redux Tour.

Park City Institute presents actress-singer-songwriter-musician, Nellie McKay, performing 'A Girl Named Bill - the Life and Times of Billy Tipton,' on the Eccles Center Main Stage, Saturday April 15. The evening begins at 7:30 PM.

It's back! Bridge Street Theatre' hugely popular Cabaret Series returns to Catskill on April 8th at 8:00pm. And the first installment will feature series curator (and part time Catskill resident) Tom Andersen himself in an exhilarating evening of tunes from the Great American Songbook, Broadway, Country Music, and his own teeming and talented brain called 'My Favorite Sings'. And to give the evening an even more distinctive 'local' twist, Mr. Andersen will be joined onstage by Jumbo Bungalow - the husband-and-wife team of Catskill ukulele virtuoso extraordinaire Carmen Borgia and BST's own resident diva (and star of their production of SOUVENIR) Alison Davy.

Gustavo Dudamel accents the colors, rhythms, and passion of music by leading composers from Argentina in this invigorating evening under the stars on Dudamel Conducts Tangos Under the Stars with the LA Phil -- recorded at the Hollywood Bowl in August - coming to Great Performances Friday, March 31 at 9 p.m. on PBS. With sold out and standing room only crowds, not to mention multiple standing ovations, clearly cabaret's heart was beating strong and proud.
