Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue - the indoor Event Gallery. This summer, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Ann Hampton Callaway on July 8, Mark Nadler on August 20, and Scott Samuelson and Jeanne MacDonald on September 16. And to give the evening an even more distinctive 'local' twist, Mr. Andersen will be joined onstage by Jumbo Bungalow - the husband-and-wife team of Catskill ukulele virtuoso extraordinaire Carmen Borgia and BST's own resident diva (and star of their production of SOUVENIR) Alison Davy.

Just as death knells and obituaries are beginning to appear in the press for cabaret in Los Angeles (usually by inexperienced journalists in their 20s who seem to think that entertainment is restricted to their computers, IPads and IPhones), proof to the contrary arrives in the form of one Charles Busch in "THAT GIRL/ THAT BOY" at Rockwell stage and table on March 13th and 14th . With sold out and standing room only crowds, not to mention multiple standing ovations, clearly cabaret's heart was beating strong and proud.
