Punchdrunk's Sleep No More is an award-winning theatrical experience that tells Shakespeare's classic tragedy Macbeth through a darkly cinematic lens. Audiences move freely through the epic world of the story at their own pace, choosing where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone's journey is different and unique. Sleep No More began performances on Monday, March 7, and officially opened on Wednesday, April 13 to rave reviews. It has since gone on to win such theatrical honours as the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and the Obie Awards' Special Citation for Design & Choreography. In an effort to satisfy demand for access to the otherwise sold-out evenings, Sleep No More will be granting exclusive access to its Halloween Masquerade After Parties (immediately following each Halloween Masquerade performance) by putting After Party-only tickets on sale for each of the five evenings.

Sleep No More has announced the schedule of events for their week-long Halloween masquerade. As previously announced, from October 26 through October 31, Sleep No More will host a series of exclusive evenings at the McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY). Each of those nights will be shaped by its own unique concept, and will feature special acts inside the venue, following regularly scheduled performances.

Sleep No More will celebrate Halloween with a week-long masquerade. From October 26 through October 31, Sleep No More will host a series of exclusive evenings at the McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY). Each of those nights will be shaped by its own unique concept, and will feature special acts inside the venue, following regularly scheduled performances. EMURSIVE (Randy Weiner, Arthur Karpati, and Jonathan Hochwald, principals) announced today that the New York premiere of Punchdrunk's Sleep No More has extended its run through the Labor Day, September 5, 2011. The decision to extend was based on the overwhelming demand for tickets, and follows on the heels of rave reviews and a handful of recent honors, including the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and the Obie Awards' Special Citation for Design & Choreography. The production began performances on Monday, March 7 at The McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY), and officially opened on Wednesday, April 13.

The 56th Annual Obie Awards were given out at a ceremony last night at Webster Hall in Greenwich Village. The event was co-hosted by S. Epatha Merkerson and David Hyde Pierce, and the awards were presented by Alec Baldwin, Andrew Rannells, Arian Moayad, Frank Wood, Jim Parsons, John Larroquette, Liev Schreiber, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mamie Gummer, Margaret Colin,Nina Arianda, Patina Miller, and Rose Hemingway. Anthony Rapp, of the original cast of the Obie Award-winning musical RENT and his band from the musical WITHOUT YOU performed at the ceremony.
