The McKittrick Hotel Announces CARNIVAL DES CORBEAUX, 10/26-31; SLEEP NO MORE Extends Through 1/5

The McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY), home of Sleep No More, announces details ofCarnival des Corbeaux, the follow-up to last year's Halloween festivities at The McKittrick.   The Carnival des Corbeaux begins on Friday, October 26 and runs for six consecutive nights, each night having its own costume theme to which guests will be asked to strictly adhere.  Each night of the carnival commences immediately following that evening's performance of Sleep No Morewhich will-on those evenings only-offer audience members the enhanced experience of touring The McKittrick in costume prior to attending the Halloween festivities after the show.  Tickets to Carnival des Corbeaux will be sold both as a package with Sleep No More or separately, allowing guests not attending the show to still join the party afterwards.  Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 27. 

News of this year's Halloween festivities at The McKittrick Hotel comes as EMURSIVE, the producing entity behind Sleep No More, announces that the show has now been extended through January 5, 2013.

The schedule for Carnival des Corbeaux is as follows:

Friday, October 26: "Le Charmeur de Serpent"

Let the animal kingdom inspire your dress for the evening. Feathered, furred, or scaled attire required.

Saturday, October 27: "La Contorsionniste"

Throw modesty to the wind and flaunt your flesh. Come in your most glamorous and provocative attire. 

Sunday, October 28: "La Femme a Barbe"

Unleash your alter ego of the opposite sex. For this night, dress in your gender-bending finery. 

Monday, October 29: "La Clairvoyante"

Conjure the spirits of the dark side. Dress as sorcerers, witches, fortune-tellers and other bohemian creature of the night. 

Tuesday, October 30: "Les Sœurs Siamoises"

On this night, bring along your identical twin.  And make sure you stay side-by-side. Triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets and beyond are most welcome.

Wednesday, October 31:  "Le Sorcier"

On All Hallows Eve, the choice is yours. Come dressed as the carnival denizen of your choice.

They can be purchased at www.McKittrickHotel.com/carnivalPlease note: Costumes are strictly enforced for all patrons attending Sleep No More and/or Carnival des Corbeaux on these evenings.  Patrons who do not arrive in costume will not be admitted. Entry times for the week are as follows: 7:00pm SNM/10:15pm Carnival only/12:15am Late night carnival only Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and 6pm SNM/9:15pm carnival/ 11pm late night carnival entry on Sunday.

Punchdrunk's Sleep No More is an award-winning theatrical experience that tells Shakespeare's classic tragedy Macbeththrough a darkly cinematic lens. Audiences move freely through the epic world of the story at their own pace, choosing where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone's journey is different and unique.

The creative team features Felix Barrett (Direction and Design), Maxine Doyle (Direction and Choreography), Stephen Dobbie (Sound Design), Beatrice Minns (Design Associate), and Livi Vaughan (Design Associate).

Entry times for Sleep No More are as follows: Monday-Saturday at 7:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  There are additional late performances on Fridays and Saturdays, with entry times at 11:00 p.m., 11:15 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 11:45 p.m. and midnight.  Please note: there will be no late performances on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29.
