On Saturday, Dec. 1, Chicago's legendary comedy theatre The Second City will appear at Overture Center for the Arts in downtown Madison at 8 p.m. Madison native Terrence Carey will return to his hometown for the one-night-only performance.

Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of December, highlighted by headliners Mo Amer, from his Netflix special 'The Vagabond,' December 1 and 2; Des Bishop, host of This Is Ireland, December 6- 8; Jay Pharoah, from NBC's Saturday Night Live, December 13 - 16; Melissa Villaseñor, from NBC'S Saturday Night Live, December 20 - 22; and Dave Attell, from his Netflix special Bumping Mics, December 27 - 30.

During the week of Nov. 12, 2018, ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was up over the prior week by 16% in Total Viewers (2.262 million vs. 1.955 million) to draw its largest audience so far this season and its biggest since the first week of June – since the week of 6/4/18. In addition, “Kimmel” grew for the 3rd consecutive week among Adults 18-49 (+9% - 540,000 vs. 496,000) to its 2nd-best performance this season, behind only the show's Back to Brooklyn week (w/o 10/15/18).

ABC (8.202 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) got a boost on Monday from aforementioned NFL coverage plus the season finale of 'Dancing with the Stars' (8.551 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and a new 'The Good Doctor' (7.504 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3).

Live from Here with Chris Thile confirms the guest lineup for its Town Hall residency in New York, throughout December as well as their January 2019 performance in Durham, NC and Chicago, IL. With postseason football right around the corner, CBS has announced the lineup of late night and primetime shows that will receive big promotional platforms following both the AFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 and SUPER BOWL LIII two weeks later on Sunday, Feb. 3.

FOX (11.682 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1) continued its Thursday reign thanks to its coverage of 'Thursday Night Football Pre-Game' (10.405 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.8, #2) and 'Thursday Night Football' (11.938 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1).

Prolific stand-up comedian, Tom Papa, is coming to Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, CO for one night only on Friday, February 15th. Show times are 7:00pm and 9:00pm.  Tickets are $32.00 and go on sale on Friday, November 16th.

Seven-piece sound-sculptors Huntertones are having quite the year of their rising career on the Brooklyn instrumental music scene with a viral mash-up Michael Jackson tribute video hitting more than 550k views on Facebook. Obscure covers of pop songs only scratches the surface of this highly inventive, sonically fearless ensemble. Come October 5, 2018, Huntertones will nationally release Passport, the band's first studio album since moving to Brooklyn (circa. 2014). A deep dive into the endless inspiring possibilities of global collaborations, Passport is an ambitious documentation of Huntertones' tours throughout South America, Europe and Africa.
