This holiday season Keen Company will bring audiences an extra special treat as it reunites the original cast members of one of the company's most beloved productions - John Patrick's The Hasty Heart (originally presented in Keen's 5th Season), for one night only.
The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that their 2014 - '15 season will begin with the first major New York revival of Lee Blessing's A Walk In The Woods starring Kathleen Chalfant and Paul Niebanck, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. It will be followed in the spring by a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald.
The Spiral Theatre Studio rides into the New Year by transporting audiences to the world of professional thoroughbred horse racing, with the dark comedy DEVIL DOG SIX by Fengar Gael. Directed by Paula J. Riley.
THE MAN-MADE ROCK, a dramatic comedy, which will run through December 16 at the 4th Street Theatre, is set in Texas and written by Justin Adams. Featuring direction from Matt Dickson (who just finished a run in Lincoln Center's War Horse and also appeared in all three parts of The Coast of Utopia), the cast will feature Broadway veterans Martin LaPlatney (the original Broadway cast of Amadeus, Roundabout's recent The Road to Mecca) and Stephen Bradbury (Dividing the Estate, the original cast of A Few Good Men on Broadway) alongside Blake DeLong, David Marantz (One Life to Live, As The World Turns) and Jon Krupp. Get a first look at the production in the photos below!
