The Public Theater's Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson announced the line-up today for The Public's 55th Anniversary Season beginning in September with the long-awaited New York premiere of Elevator Repair Service's acclaimed GATZ, a literary tour de force where 13 actors and an audience experience every word of The Great Gatsby in a two-part, 6 1/2-hour theatrical event, running September 26-October 31, 2010.

Down Payment Productions (Jessica Fisch, Artistic Director; Brian Smith, Executive Producer) will present the New York City premiere of THE REALM, a play by Sarah Myers (Rude Mechanicals), directed by Jessica Fisch.

By & By Productions presents the World Premiere of MOVING DAY, a drama written and directed by Helene Montagna. Performances begin previews on April 8th at The Kraine Theater with opening night slated for Monday, April 12. By & By Productions is a division of Sea View Playwright's Theatre in Staten Island where MOVING DAY was workshopped last year.
