Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that Chris Rock is set to make his Broadway debut, opposite Bobby Cannavale, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabela Sciorra and Yul Vazquez. The play, but Stephen Adly Guirgis is called 'The Motherf***er With the Hat' aka 'Hat'.

An exceptional 23 person cast will open a limited engagement of Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at CoA at the Alexandria (3rd floor). The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis marks the inaugural collaboration of Urban Theatre Movement and Company of Angels. Urban Theatre Movement is a multicultural collective of artists dedicated to creating accessible art and life changing experiences through innovative theatre that serves and mirrors our rich and diverse community. The LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Co-Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O'Donnell, Yul Vazquez; Managing Director Danny Feldman) and the Elephant Theatre Company (Artistic Director, David Fofi; Managing Director, Lindsay Allbaugh) in Los Angeles have announced today a new bi-coastal partnership between the two acclaimed ensemble-based companies.

On Sunday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m., the Epic Theatre Ensemble will present a staged reading of a new version of Ari Roth's acclaimed Born Guilty Cycle at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Blanka Zizka will direct the monumental three and one-half hour reading which will feature Rick Foucheux. Following the performance, Roth, Peter Sichrovsky, and other special guests will take part in a Q&A.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, will hold the fifth in its series of seminars focused on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway.

He also reports that Linda Emond is said to be the top choice to play Loman's wife, Linda in the production which is aiming for 2011.

Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.
