Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble previously announced the complete cast and creative team for their World Premiere production of Radiance, written by Cusi Cram and directed by Suzanne Agins. The complete cast of the upcoming production of Radiance includes Kelly AuCoin (Julius Caesar, Julie & Julia) and Ana Reeder (Top Girls, Sight Unseen), as well as Labyrinth Company Members Kohl Sudduth (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Take Me Out) and Aaron Roman Weiner (Thinner Than Water, The Glass Menagerie).

Chris Rock will join previously announced members of the original Broadway cast, including Tony-nominated Bobby Cannavale and Elizabeth Rodriguez, when L.A. Theatre Works presents Stephen Adly Guirgis' high-octane hit The Motherf***er with the Hat.

It's your last chance to catch scintillating Boston area premieres of two recent Broadway hits about hope in the midst of hardscrabble lives - 'The Motherf**ker with the Hat' at SpeakEasy Stage and 'Good People' at the Huntington. Both end this weekend.

Attending the 13th Annual Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) Awards presented by Delta Air Lines tonight, October 8, 2012 will be SAG-AFTRA elected leadership reps that include national SAG-AFTRA Co- President, Roberta Reardon and national SAG-AFTRA Co-Treasurer and Co-Secretary, Amy Aquino. Also joining the celebration will be Tony Plana, Tony Shalhoub, Brooke Adams and CNN's Jane Vélez-Mitchell. A special tribute to the late Lupe Ontiveros will be given by Latin Heat Editor and co-host of 'HOLA L.A.' Bel Hernández. Odalys Molina and Jorge Ramos will serve as the Masters of Ceremonies of this year's HOLA Awards.

The LabRats Theater Company presents its 2012-2013 Season. The third full season begins tonight, October 6th with the R.A.W. Reading Series and the presentation of Lindsay Joy-Murphy's Rise, Fall, directed by Padraic Lillis and continues October 20th with Lawrence Dial's Carroll Gardens, directed by Tyne Rafaeli, from this series the company will choose LabRats' full production, which will be presented February 28th-March 17th at The Access Theatre Gallery Space in Lower Manhattan. The season concludes May 25th, with Experiment Sessions, a free day of works in progress.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company begins the new year with Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, under the direction of ensemble member Austin Pendleton. The Birthday Party features ensemble members Ian Barford, Francis Guinan, Moira Harris and John Mahoney with Sophia Sinise (one actor is still to be announced). The Birthday Party begins previews January 24 (Opening night is February 3, 2013; Press performances are February 2 at 3pm and February 5 at 7:30pm) and runs through May 19 in Steppenwolf's Upstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St). Tickets ($20 - $78) go on sale November 16 at 11am (prices are subject to change).

THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT, the play that dare not speak its name, has a lot to say. In spite of the almost immediate negative reaction of some people to the title, the production makes for a very compelling evening of theatre. Congrats to Dobama for not steering away from the script because of the title and the realistic language.

Award-winning stage, film and television actor Jimmy Smits makes his Chicago stage debut this season at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in ensemble member Anna D. Shapiro's second staging of The Motherf**ker with the Hat, Stephen Adly Guirgis's hit new play.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Broadway and TV actor Jimmy Smits will appear onstage in Steppenwolf Theatre's The Motherf**ker with the Hat in Chicago, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, who helmed the original Broadway production.

In a musical revue game show opening the 10th Annual Rivers and Spires Festival in Clarksville last Thursday, the Roxy Regional Theatre, Clarksville's oldest live theatre and only professional theatre, unveiled its 30th Anniversary Season. Under the direction of Tom Thayer, executive director, and John McDonald, artistic director, the theatre will kick off the 2012-2013 season with the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5: The Musical. Starring Bailey Hanks of Broadway's Legally Blonde, it will open tonight, September 14.

A new season three trailer of HBO's BOARDWALK EMPIRE has been revealed by the cable network. The trailer focusus on new series regular Bobby Cannavale who will portray gangster Gyp Rosetti. According to series character 'Nucky', 'Gyp Rosetti is trouble for everyone - that makes him bad for business.' Check out a sneak peek of Cannavale in action below!

This intensely moving and riveting story of acceptance and coming home again will be directed by the Hangar's Associate Artistic Director Stephanie Yankwitt (Hangar's Rounding Third) and features a cast of local favorites including Susannah Berryman (Hangar's Penelope of Ithaca, The Chalk Circle, Cabaret, and The Rainmaker) and Jesse Bush (Hangar's Ever So Humble, Disney's Beauty and the Beast). The Trip to Bountiful opens tonight, September 7, and runs through September 15th.
