On Sunday, April 15 at 4:00pm, The New Group will present this season's final presentation in Dark Nights at The New Group - Reflecting Rabe: Readings from David Rabe's Work. This event features readings of excerpts from David Rabe's acclaimed writing, from plays to fiction.

On April 7-14, Performing Arts at Pace University will present "Our Lady of 121st Street" by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Grant Kretchik, at The Lion Theatre on Theatre Row.

On last night's episode of ABC's hit comedy series MODERN FAMILY entitled 'Send Out the Clowns, Tony Award-Winner Ellen Barkin ('The Big Easy,' 'Ocean's Thirteen') and Bobby Cannavale ('Will & Grace,' 'Third Watch') made guest star appearances. The episode took place at the funeral service for a beloved clown mentor which reunited Cameron with his estranged ex-clown partner, Lewis (Bobby Cannavale). Also in the episode, Phil was serious about landing a very important listing, only to get trumped by a notorious bulldozer of an agent, Verna Roth (Ellen Barkin); and Manny had a cool new friend, which made both Jay and Gloria suspicious. The Broadway production of Arthur Miller's DEATH OF A SALESMAN opens officially tonight at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Broadway.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Massacre (Sing to Your Children), by Obie Award-winning playwright Jose Rivera, directed by Brian Mertes. Performances will begin Wednesday, April 4th at Rattlestick Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry & West 11th Streets). The official opening night is set for Thursday, April 12th. The production is scheduled to run through May 12th.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company Artistic Director Martha Lavey announced today the 2012/13 Subscription Season, including a Steppenwolf-commissioned world premiere and the work of fifteen ensemble members. The season begins in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre with David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People, directed by ensemble member K. Todd Freeman. Up next, ensemble member Anna D. Shapiro directs The Motherf**ker with the Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis. In the Upstairs Theatre, ensemble member Austin Pendleton directs The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter. In April 2013, ensemble member Tina Landau directs the Steppenwolf-commissioned world premiere of Head of Passes by ensemble member Tarell Alvin McCraney, their first collaboration since the widely-praised The Brother/Sister Plays (2010). The season concludes with Belleville by Amy Herzog, directed by Anne Kauffmann.

CAPSULE JUDGMENT: IN ARABIA WE'D ALL BE KINGS gets an impressive production and is a perfect vehicle to open CPH's new Lab Theatre. Due to its language and subject matter, it's not a play for everyone, but those interested in having an up-front emotionally involving theatrical theatre experience, should definitely see this production.
