Thanks to the efforts of philanthropist and veterans activist, Patricia Kennedy, founder of Step Up 4 Vets, a not for profit organization whose mission is to partner in the transition of our returning veterans as they readjust, redirect and rebuild their civilian lives, 55 veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan made up for many missed holidays with an all day family celebration centered around the acclaimed Joffrey Ballet's renowned Nutcracker. 26 years ago, longtime Joffrey Board member & close friend of Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino raised the funds to create the Joffrey's now internationally acclaimed Nutcracker. John Ingle, best known for the role of patriarch Edward Quartermaine on ABC's 'General Hospital,' died surrounded by his family in California on Sunday, September 16 after a courageous battle with cancer. His beloved wife of 57 years, Grace-Lynne Martin, passed away earlier this year on February 11, 2012 of natural causes. Ingle is survived by their five daughters, Jessica, Jenny, Carey, Melanie and Chrissy, and nine grandchildren.

Audience members will be treated to unique, fully staged Eurovision entries performed by the London West End casts of: Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, Shrek, Sweeney Todd, The 39 Steps, The Wizard of Oz and Wicked. In addition, there will be a one off extravaganza of a performance by international recording artist and television personality Javine Hylton as she reprises her 2005 UK entry 'Touch My Fire'.
