Joe Iconis is a Tony Award-winning composer in the making, but until he wins that ultimate prize he's making a few stops along the way, like tonight when he and his 'Family' perform a concert of his 'Greatest Hits' at 54 Below.

Artistic Director Robert Lyons presents the 19th annual Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival. Ice Factory 2012 begins the festival's next exciting era at its new West Village space, the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets. Ice Factory 2012 will feature two World Premieres, two New York Premieres and one Manhattan Premiere over six weeks, running from today, June 27 - August 4, 2012.

Broadway Remembers Whitney, a benefit concert honoring one of the greatest icons and voices of our generation was held last night, February 27th at Joe's Pub.

Broadway Remembers Whitney, a benefit concert honoring one of the greatest icons and voices of our generation, will take place on Monday, February 27th at Joe's Pub, 425 Lafayette Street (between East 4th and Astor Place), performance begins at 9:30pm. The songwriting team of Michael Cooper and Hyeyoung Kim have written a short musical that will be presented as part of an evening called "Rites of Passage" at the Prospect Theater Company at the West End Theatre, at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, through February 20.

Prospect Theater Company presents a developmental performance of new works by some of NYC's emerging musical theater writers, the result of works created in the company's 5th annual musical theater lab.

Singer/Songwriter Morgan Karr (Broadway's Spring Awakening) returns to the newly renovated Joe's Pub, November 11, 2011 at 11:11 PM to give a benefit concert for the New York-based arts outreach organization, Sing for Hope, responsible for the Pop-Up Pianos placed around city parks and public spaces over the summer.

Featured writers for the July 25th installment include Mark Sutton Smith (Stand By The River), and Daniel Green. Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Karen Marshall.

On Wednesday, May 11th, Morgan Karr officially released his much- anticipated debut EP. An actor, singer and songwriter hailing from Nashville Tennessee, Karr's first release comes after quickly making his mark on the New York City entertainment scene. The album is co-produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Juan Patiño (Lisa Loeb's 'Stay'), Cliff Goldmacher (Jane Monheit, Spencer Day), and Kevin Fisher (Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans).
