Sony Masterworks Broadway just announced the December 6 release of SUPERHERO (ORIGINAL CAST RECORDING) with music and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Emmy Award-winning composer Tom Kitt (Jagged Little Pill, Next to Normal, If/Then) and book by Tony and Golden Globe Award-winning writer John Logan (Moulin Rouge! Sony Music Masterworks today releases THE IRISHMAN (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK), an album of music from the Martin Scorsese-directed film starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.  Available everywhere now, the soundtrack features music carefully curated by Scorsese and music supervisor Randall Poster (The Wolf of Wall Street, Boardwalk Empire) as a sonic companion to the film's enthralling narrative of organized crime in postwar America.  The twenty-track collection includes top hits by legendary artists Fats Domino, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Vale, Johnny Ray, Marty Robbins, Pérez Prado and more, as well as a new theme composed by legendary guitarist and composer Robbie Robertson.  Making its critically-acclaimed world premiere at this year's New York Film Festival, The Irishman is in theaters now and begins streaming on Netflix Wednesday, November 27.  

Brooklyn-based art pop project SAN FERMIN today share an acoustic cover of CARLY RAE JEPSEN's hit single 'Run Away with Me.' Reinterpreted by bandleader Ellis Ludwig-Leone, San Fermin's cover finds vocalists Claire Wellin and Karlie Bruce harmonizing for a warmly emotive take on the Emotionclassic. 

Milan Records, an imprint of Sony Music Masterworks, today releases LOOKING FOR ALASKA (MUSIC FROM THE HULU SERIES) a?' available everywhere now.  The album includes music from Hulu's newest original limited series, produced by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Gossip Girl) and based on John Green's bestselling novel.  Set in 2005, the series features music specific to the early 2000s era, carefully curated by Schwartz and music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas (The O.C., The Twilight Series) as a sonic companion to the show's coming-of-age narrative. 

Brooklyn-based art pop project SAN FERMIN today release their new album THE CORMORANT I via Better Company, bandleader Ellis Ludwig-Leone's new imprint under Sony Music Masterworks. Envisioned as the first of a two-part album release, The Cormorant I ushers in a new era for San Fermin and sets the tone for the overall project, which will include an eventual counterpart to be released next year. Described by Ludwig-Leone as both a 'stand-alone narrative in itself' as well as 'the first piece of a larger two-part story,' The Cormorant I is available everywhere now.

The track originally made its debut via The FADER, who describe the R&B-tinged love song as, 'something of a rebirth for Grossi and Active Child, who now calls major label Sony its home. Having amassed over a billion views on YouTube for their strikingly original and self-made music videos, THE PIANO GUYS return with a new, out-of-this-world visual, taking viewers on a journey to Pandora for their rendition of the Avatar theme.  Filmed at Disney's World of Avatar, the new video immerses its viewers in the fantastical world inspired by the James Cameron film and music of composer James Horner. 

A joint project from Square Enix and Sony Music Masterworks is announced today. The two companies bring fan-selected tracks from the long awaited 'FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE' and timeless masterpiece 'FINAL FANTASY VII' packed into a limited-edition 2-LP picture disc release. FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE AND FINAL FANTASY VII VINYL (title subject to change) will be available for pre-order on July 7, 2019, with an official release date set on the 23rd anniversary of the original Final Fantasy VII game - January 31, 2020.

Fresh off a North American tour opening for Telekinesis, SONTALK - the latest project from singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joseph LeMay - released a new official video for the band's current single, 'The One Who Breaks Your Heart' - watch here. In honor of the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters' 1984 theatrical debut, Sony Music announces a special reissue of 'GHOSTBUSTERS (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SCORE)' with music by legendary film composer ELMER BERNSTEIN (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Age of Innocence). Available now to preorder, the anniversary edition arrives in digital formats for the very first time (in both standard and hi resolutions) and on CD Friday, June 7 and on vinyl Friday, July 19. The collection features music from the iconic blockbuster, newly mixed and remastered from the score's original multi-tracks, as well as new artwork, commentary from Elmer Bernstein's son, Peter, and four previously unreleased tracks.
