This evening, 22 October 2018, Sony Music Masterworks together with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Producers launched The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, an album of music by Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning composer and innovator Imogen Heap from the internationally acclaimed stage production.

The judges for the fifth quadrennial Parkening International Guitar Competition, to be presented by Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, from Tuesday, May 28, to Saturday, June 1, 2019, have been announced.

The Lone Bellow will head out on a major North American Tour beginning October 1st, snaking through the U.S. through December. For the first time ever, the band will play as just the trio with no backing band - riffing on a wildly popular portion of their live show where the three gather around one microphone.The Restless EP will release wide come Oct. 19th and features two new songs, two covers, and three reworked versions of songs from previous records. Produced by members Brian Elmquist and Jason Pipkin. To mark the occasion they've released two new acoustic tracks, a cover of The National's 'Pink Rabbits' and a new track, 'The Restless' available on all DSP's today as well as pre-ordering of the EP.

Gearing up for the October 19th release of new album Let There Be Cello, 2CELLOS today announce dates for their 2019 LET THERE BE CELLO TOUR, set to kick off February 5 in Seattle, WA.  Known for their electric live performances, 2CELLOS have played to audiences across the globe and most recently sold over 150,000 tickets on their 28-date U.S. SCORE tour in 2017.  Tickets for the tour will be available to the general public this Friday, September 28th at 10am local time at http://flyt.it/2CELLOSPR?ID=PR.

The producers of the acclaimed play have announced that The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, an album of music from the internationally acclaimed stage production, will be released on 2 November 2018.

The Croatian duo of Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, better known as 2CELLOS, return this Fall with an all-new album, Let There Be Cello, set for release October 19 via Sony Music Masterworks. A follow-up to the 2017 release of Score, Let There Be Cello finds the pair exploring a diverse catalogue with their signature boundary-breaking playing style. The Original Cast Recording from the hit musical comedy Desperate Measures is available digitally today from Masterworks Broadway, with the CD set for release August 10. With music by David Friedman (Listen to My Heart) and lyrics by Peter Kellogg (Anna Karenina), the album is produced by Robert Sher with liner notes by Peter Filichia. Described by the Huffington Post as 'a good old-fashioned musical comedy... a happy surprise of a show filled with enjoyable songs,' Desperate Measures is currently running at New World Stages in New York City.

One of the most acclaimed and distinctive film composers of his generation, four-time Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman collaborates once again with director Gus Van Sant with his original score for Van Sant's new Amazon Studios film Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. Opening nationwide July 13, the film is a based on John Callahan, one of the most iconic American cartoonists, and his one-of-a-kind story of struggle and redemption. Sony Classical releases the film's original soundtrack recording on July 13.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical, the critically acclaimed, award-winning new musical will conclude its Broadway engagement at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at West 47th Street) on Sunday, September 16, 2018, due to previously planned theatre renovations beginning mid-September. Early in 2019, school and youth group licensing rights will be available, with professional licensing to follow. Additionally, a North American tour will begin fall 2019 (cities, venue engagements and casting to be announced at a later date). The production, which began previews on November 6, 2017, and opened on December 4, 2017, will have played 327 regular performances and 29 previews.

Yo-Yo Ma will release Six Evolutions - Bach: Cello Suites (Sony Classical), his third and final recording of these works, on August 17, 2018. The album is available now for preorder, including a 3-LP 180-gram vinyl set, and the Bourrées from Suite No. 3 can be heard now on all digital service providers.

Electro-folk band, Tall Heights release their latest single, 'The Deep End'. Sony Music proudly announces the release of OVERBOARD (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). The soundtrack for Overboard is a compilation of tracks by numerous musicians and features original music by Los Hanky Pankys, Rue Melo x ESCQ, Gente de Zona and Break Out The Crazy. The soundtrack is available April 27 for download, streaming and on CD. A Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM) and Pantelion Films presentation of a 3Pas Studios production, Overboard is set for release on May 4.

Sony Music Masterworks has announced the release of How To Talk To Girls At Parties (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack),the musical companion to the hugely anticipated new film from award-winning writer-director, John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), based on the short story by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Norse Mythology). The album arrives at all music retailers and streaming services on Friday, May 11. Out today ahead of the full soundtrack release is the single track, 'Between the Breaths' from beloved indie-darlings, Mitski and Xiu Xiu. The A24 release of a See-Saw Films/Little Punk production, How to Talk to Girls at Parties opens in theaters across the U.S on May 25. StudioCanal UK releases the film across the UK on May 11.
