Sting and THE LAST SHIP cast rock the boat at 54 Below!

The original cast and band of Sting's musical The Last Ship reunited on the 54 Below stage earlier this week to celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. THE LAST SHIP played its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24, but fans still have another chance to catch the cast in action. Tonight, March 2 (9:30PM), they will reunite at 54 Below for 'Songs in the Quay of Life: THE LAST SHIP Company in Concert.' The original cast and band will celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders.

This March, 54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street. Below, find the schedule for upcoming events over the next month.

In the coming weeks, 54 Below revisits some of our favorite Broadway productions with concert events celebrating beloved scores as well as reunions bringing together original company members.

The New York Times revealed in an article profiling ON THE TOWN's producers that one of them -- Howard Kagan -- wants to mount Dave Malloy's off-Broadway hit electropop opera NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 on Broadway 'soon'. Kagan produced the musical event's off-Broadway run.

The performance will take place on Sunday, October 5th, at Joe's Pub (at the acclaimed Public Theater); 425 Lafayette Street, New York, NY. The show begins at 9:00 pm, and there will be a party with the cast after the show in the Public Theater's Bar and Restaurant "The Library". This is a rare opportunity to see Broadway performers in an intimate club setting.
