Bush Theatre To Host FERTILITY ARTS FESTIVAL

Fertility Fest, the world's first arts festival dedicated to fertility, infertility, modern families and the science of making babies, is delighted to announced the programme for its second edition taking place at Bush Theatre, 8 - 13 May 2018. Over 150 world class artists and fertility experts including scientists, clinicians and academics will share the stage to explore the bigger picture of fertility in the 21st century together, through theatre, music, film, photography, dance, visual arts, literature, poetry, discussion, workshops and debate. The diverse programme will bring together all voices - whatever their sex, experience or parenting stories - to ask key questions about fertility science and education, and encourage a more open public discourse around these issues.
Platform Returns With Two New Plays Putting Girls Centre Stage

This week, London's Bush Theatre reopens following a £4.3 million capital project. The building's revitalisation sees it become more sustainable and entirely accessible, with a new entrance, front-of-house area and garden terrace, improved rehearsal and dressing room facilities, an expanded main auditorium, and a new 70-seat studio space - a home for emerging artists and producers. The 2017 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to U.S. playwright Clare Barron for her play Dance Nation. On March 6, New York's Playwrights Horizons hosted a ceremony honoring the winner and finalists of the prize and celebrating the 39th anniversary of the international prize, which is based in Houston.

This unique project will see the Tricycle work on a weekly basis with 6 satellite venues across its home borough of Brent in a bid to engage communities and participants - many of whom have not previously engaged in arts - on their 'home turf'.
RSC to Host Open House in July

On Saturday 2 July, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) will hold an Open House - a day of special activities for the whole family at its recently re-opened studio theatre, The Other Place. It will also be the first opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets for the RSC's forthcoming Making Mischief Festival of new plays for just 70p a ticket.
