The cast of Broadway's Tony-nominated musical ON THE TOWN stopped by this morning's TODAY to perform the number 'New York, New York.' Watch the appearance below!

NBC has announced that the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN will perform live on the plaza on Monday May 18th.

Nominated for four 2015 Tony Awards, On the Town is still going strong at the Lyric Theatre, but performances May 7-12 were canceled so that the theatre could host NYC upfronts for Univision Communications Inc. Performances will resume this afternoon at 2pm, May 13. Welcome back to the ship!

BroadwayWorld has learned that performances May 7-12 have been canceled so that the theatre can host NYC upfronts for Univision Communications Inc. Performances will resume on May 13.

ON THE TOWN's Alysha Umphress and Jay Armstrong Johnson stopped by this morning's TODAY to perform the number 'I Can Cook Too' from the hit Broadway musical.

Peck will play the role at the following performances: March 3rd at 7pm, March 4th at 2pm and 8pm, March 14th at 2pm and 8pm, and March 15th at 3pm.

On The Town, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036). The new Broadway revival of On The Town will welcome 'SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE' winner and 'America's Favorite Dancer' Ricky Ubeda to the cast beginning February 27, 2015 for a limited engagement through April 26, 2015.

Christian Campbell and America Olivio, stars of stage and screen, teamed up with the Broadway Dreams Foundation and Grace Winery for an East vs. West Coast wine-video challenge. The result is a hilarious Great Gatsby-inspired video series entitled The Great Grapesta.
