Siegfried Fischbacher, whose 50-year collaboration with Roy Horn created “Siegfried & Roy,” the most successful magic act in history, died last night at his home in Las Vegas from pancreatic cancer. He was 81.

Roy Uwe Ludwig Horn, whose collaboration with Siegfried Fischbacher created the world-renowned duo Siegfried & Roy, died of complications from COVID-19 today in a Las Vegas hospital. He was 75.

According to Variety, the life story of Siegfried and Roy is coming to the big screen. Michael Bully Herbig partners with UFA Fiction to direct this upcoming biopic about the world famous entertainers.

The iconic Caesars Palace honored legendary French performer and activist Line Renaud with a street sign at the Las Vegas resort on Thursday, Sept. 28. Led by Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner, the street naming celebration included a proclamation by Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, who also presented Renaud with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip. Siegfried Fischbacher, Neil Patrick Harris and Magic Castle co-founder Milt Larsen will unveil the newly renovated star of history's most famous illusionist - Harry Houdini. Among those contributing to the restoration include top magicians such as: David Copperfield, Lance Burton, Tihany, Marvyn Roy (Mr. Electric), as well as Siegfried and Roy.
