Eisemann Center Presents will kick off the 2024-2025 season with The Brit Pack on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 8 p.m. in the Hill Performance Hall.

Benjamin Bonenfant joins ASF as the ambitious Macbeth, who commits regicide and usurps the throne of Scotland after three witches lead him to believe he is invincible. As with many of The Bard's stories, bloody battles and tragedy ensue.

Alabama Shakespeare Festival presents All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 by Peter Rothstein, with vocal arrangements by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach, on the Octagon Stage December 7 - 29, 2019. Directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, this dramatic retelling weaves together firsthand accounts of World War I soldiers with patriotic tunes, trench songs, and Christmas carols.

Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is decked out for the season as they present their 2018 holiday show, 'Christmas in the Air.' As patrons arrive at the Playhouse, they will notice the festive decorations adorning the dinner theatre both inside and out, including a 25 foot Christmas tree and a freshly baked gingerbread village. After a delicious table served meal, which includes an all you can eat dessert buffet, the professional cast takes the stage and the spirited show begins.

To commemorate the 1918 holocaust lynchings of eleven African Americans, including Mary Turner and her unborn baby in Brooks County, Georgia, The Billie Holiday Theatre and RestorationART present the New York Premiere of A Small Oak Tree Runs Red by Brooklyn's own LeKethia Dalcoe, directed by renowned actor and director, Harry Lennix.

The St. Louis County Library Foundation is seeking applicants for the fourth annual Sidney Johnson Learning Award. Those eligible are teens aged 12-18 who live in the St. Louis County Library District and have demonstrated outstanding service to the library. The application deadline is Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
