THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL and BRIERPATCH PRODUCTIONS are pleased to announce the world premiere production of MARRYING MEG, directed by Dave Solomon. MARRYING MEG will play a limited engagement at Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036.)
The Roundtable Ensemble will present the world premiere of Chris Kipiniak's Save the World, a superhero-adventure play at the American Theatre of Actors. Performances will begin on Thursday, January 17, and the official opening night will be Saturday, January 19 at 8PM. Performances will run for four weeks through February 9.
Casting has been announced for the New York Musical Theatre Festival and Courthouse Repertory world premiere of Love Sucks, a punk rock musical with book and lyrics by Stephen O'Rourke and music and lyrics by Brandon Patton. The production is directed by Andrew Goldberg and is being presented at the Julia Miles Theatre.
The New York 'IT' Awards (sponsored by Backstage) takes place September 19th at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
