Segerstrom Center for the Arts is proud to present the Costa Mesa engagement of the Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof from May 7-19, 2019 in Segerstrom Hall. Producers Hal Luftig and Jana Robbins in association with Sandy Block announced that the critically-acclaimed National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish begins previews on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Stage 42 (422 W 42nd St.). The production will open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019.

It is bound to happen every once in awhile that various theatres in the Twin Cities all decide to produce the same musical within the same season. The positive thing is that the other two productions of She Loves Me (one at Daleko and one at Lyric Arts) were absolutely fabulous and the most recent production by Artistry was too. I don't mind seeing this for a third time within the same year because it's so ridiculously charming.

The annual KLEBAN PRIZE FOR MUSICAL THEATRE presentation took place Monday, February 4 at ASCAP, 250 W. 57th Street. The show is directed by Lance Roberts, with music director/pianist, Tedd Firth, and Phil Palombi on bass.

The production will begin performances on Monday, February 11, 2019, open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019.
