Williamston Theatre Celebrates The Holiday Season With A HUNTING SHACK CHRISTMAS Mid-Michigan's award-winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston gets into the holiday spirit with the Michigan Premiere of A Hunting Shack Christmas by Jessica Lind Peterson. Performances for this hilarious yet heartwarming comedy begin Thursday, November 15 and run through Sunday, December 23. Tickets are now on sale.

As the holidays approach, Charlie heads up to the hunting shack that's been in his family for generations, hoping for the peace he needs to sort out his life. Instead of the solitude he was looking for, he finds himself buried in snow, unexpected family, beef jerky, a crazy internet romance, and more snow. Can he sort it all out in time for his wedding anniversary?

The cast of A Hunting Shack Christmas features one newcomer to the Williamston stage, Michigan State University Graduate Student Sharon Combs, along with Sandra Birch (Beau Jest, Summer Retreat), Aral Gribble (Pulp, The Woman in Black), John Lepard (1984, Pulp) and Patrick Loos (Beau Jest, Summer Retreat). Williamston Theatre's Artistic Director, Tony Caselli (Beau Jest, Silent Sky), is the Director of A Hunting Shack Christmas. The production team includes Scenic Design by Bartley H. Bauer (Memoir, Beau Jest), Lighting Design by Dana White (Doublewide, Too Much, Too Much, Too Many), Costume Design by MSU Graduate Student Meredith Wagner, Sound Design by Jason Painter Price (Out of Orbit, 1984) and Props Design by Michelle Raymond (Silent Sky, Memoir). The Stage Manager is Stefanie Din (Silent Sky, Doublewide).

Performances for A Hunting Shack Christmas will run from November 15 through December 23 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at eight o'clock and Sunday afternoons at two o'clock. Please note that due to Thanksgiving there will not be a performance on November 22 and instead an additional performance will be added on Friday, November 23 at 3:00PM. Starting November 24th there will be 3:00PM performances added to the remaining Saturdays of the run. The first four performances of A Hunting Shack Christmas, November 15-18, are Preview performances where audience members will have the opportunity to take part in the process of creating a show by participating in a talkback session with the director following each performance. The Official Opening Night is Friday, November 23 at 8:00PM and the Conversation Sunday for A Hunting Shack Christmas is Sunday, December 16.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can for the Preview on Thursday, November 15. Remaining Preview tickets are $19.00.
