Taking place exactly five years after the events of last year's production, the site-specific thriller SAFEHOUSE '82 once again immerses audiences in the culture and atmosphere of its particular era, right down to the 1982 copies of Playboy Magazine sitting on the living room table. This time, however, guests are asked to play a much more significant role in the story, with our choices directly impacting: the show's outcome as well as the fates of key characters. Thurs, vastly different endings are possible depending upon how the audience works together to complete the evening's mission.

Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater celebrated its 94th birthday on Thursday, Nov. 14 with the announcement that its Centennial Endowment Campaign had raised $5.3 million. The campaign went over the top when the theater received three additional gifts including a $1 million estate provision from a local couple who wish to remain anonymous. The $5 million campaign was launched on the theater's 90th birthday in 2015 to raise dedicated funds to bring in bigger stars, and expand the diversity of its world-class programming in music, dance, theater, and film.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 11, 2019. This was the fourth year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

Stars of stage and screen, playwrights, composers, and supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley came together Saturday, November 2, 2019 to celebrate the acclaimed regional theatre at And the Tony Award Goes To…Celebrating TheatreWorks at 50, a once-in-a-lifetime event honoring the company's half-century and its 2019 Regional Theatre Tony® Award. Some 480 guests attended this extraordinary event which raised nearly $800,000 for TheatreWorks marking it the most attended and most successful fundraiser in the company's history. Guests appropriately gathered in the heart of Silicon Valley at Mountain View's Computer History Museum for cocktails, dinner, and a lively auction, then proceeded to the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, where a stellar array of TheatreWorks alumni returned to pay tribute to its history through words and music.

For the week ending Friday, Nov. 1, THE TALK scored the show's largest audience in four months – since the week ending June 28. The show's always-anticipated Halloween “Rocktober Lip Sync War” episode on Thursday, Oct. 31 reached a huge 2.46 million viewers, the show's largest Thursday audience since Feb. 19 and its largest audience on any day since May 20. Making her fifth “Rocktober” appearance was Sharon Osbourne (as Stevie Nicks), with Eve (as RuPaul), Carrie Ann Inaba (as Jennifer Lopez), Marie Osmond in her debut (as Gwen Stefani), and this year's winner Sheryl Underwood (as Barry White).
