My Base and Scurvy Heart, a new play by acclaimed playwright Adam Szymkowicz, will be presented by Studio 42 for One Week Only at the Wild Project. The preview performance will be on Wednesday, April 27th at 8pm and the press opening will be on Thursday, April 28th at 8pm. The show will also perform on April 29th at 8pm, April 30th at 6pm and 9pm, and on Sunday, May 1st at 2pm. The Wild Project is at 195 East 3rd Street (between Avenues A & B) in Manhattan. Drama Desk Award winner Bradford Louryk will appear in a benefit staging of Timothy Charles Brown's satire The Erotic Diary of Anne Frank. The show will perform August 29 at 7:30pm and 10pm as a benefit for Studio 42.

'SOUL SAMURAI' will officially open on Thursday, February 19 at 8:30 p.m. This Off Broadway limited engagement will run through Sunday, March 15.

After avenging her lover's murder in the heart of Coney Island, Dewdrop now must make it back home to the Lower East Side before the shoguns of Kings County find her. In a play that mixes hip-hop culture, blaxploitation, and the martial arts, this production dials it back old school with this seventies-inspired samurai story.
