Due to extremely strong ticket demand, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announced the extension of Hippest Trip — The Soul Train Musical, the Broadway-bound musical based on the iconic TV show that brought Black music, dance, and style into every living room in America, performing at A.C.T.'s Toni Rembe Theater (415 Geary St., San Francisco).

Manhattan Concert Productions (MCP) has announced the creative team for the 25th Anniversary concert performance of Gershwin's Tony Award-winning musical comedy Crazy for You, on February 19, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center.

Broadway was Brooklyn bound this morning as the cast and crew of On Your Feet! - the new Broadway musical based on the life and music of Gloria and Emilio Estefan - got on their feet, rolled up their sleeves and worked a bustling assembly line packing up huge Emergency Food Packages (EFPs) at the Citymeals-on-Wheels warehouse in Williamsburg.

What a fun weekend we had at SCANDALOUS! So many friends and family passed thru the doors of the Neil Simon. It was the start of the whole lead up to our opening night, November 15.

American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) will present a workshop presentation of four classic musical theater and film dance numbers on Thursday, June 28 at New York City Center, Studio 4 at 6 pm. Each piece has been coached by artists intimately involved in their original productions; numbers from Contact, A Chorus Line, Lovely to Look At and Jerome Robbins' Broadway will be presented. The evening will be directed by Artistic Director Margo Sappington and feature live music with musical direction by Tedd Firth. ADM21 is a new not-for-profit dance company founded by Executive Director Nikki Feirt Atkins, dedicated to creating a living and vibrant archive of classic and current notable musical theater choreography.
