On Tuesday, June 3, 2014 City Parks Foundation (CPF) held the City Parks Foundation Gala presented at SummerStage in Central Park, an annual fundraising event that supports CPF's free year-round arts, sports, education and community-building programs. City Parks Foundation (CPF) has announced the City Parks Foundation Gala presented at SummerStage in Central Park, an annual fundraising event that supports CPF's free year-round arts, sports, education and community-building programs. This event will take place at Rumsey Playfield onTuesday, June 11, 2013 and will pay tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra, featuring the legendary singer and musician's songs as performed by an eclectic group of well established musical legends and up and coming stars.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, The New York Pops orchestra - famous for presenting popular music with a symphony orchestra of the highest quality - will perform at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park for the annual SummerStage Gala presented by City Parks Foundation.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), winner of a special 2006 Drama Desk Award for 'Vital contributions to theatre by developing and producing new musicals' will present NEO5, a benefit concert celebrating emerging musical theatre writers, on Monday, April 27 at its home in Saint Peter's Theatre. Following the 8 PM performance featuring the voices of many of today's top musical theatre talent, there will be a champagne and dessert reception to end the evening catered by Kitchenette.

The York Theatre Company presented the 16th Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre on Monday, November 12 to Broadway playwright Joseph Stein. The Award culminates York's yearlong celebration of Stein with the Fall 2006 and Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series - the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances.

The York Theatre Company presents The Baker's Wife as the fourth and final show in the Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series - the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances. This Series celebrates the work of playwright Joseph Stein. Remaining performances are Saturday October 27 at 8PM and Sunday, October 28 at 2:30PM & 7:30PM at the Theatre at Saint Peters.
