Nominees and Lifetime Achievement Honorees Announced for 2016 TMA Heller Awards

The Talent Managers Association (TMA) is proud to announce this year's Lifetime Achievement honor in Management will be given to Chuck Binder, who founded Binder & Associates in 1978. The TMA recently announced the agent and casting director nominees for the 14th Annual Heller Awards, along with two other Lifetime Achievement honorees: legendary agent Jack Gilardi (ICM Partners) and casting director Craig Fincannon (Fincannon and Associates).

The Four Seasons Come to the Orpheum in JERSEY BOYS This October

The National Tour of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, welcomed Cory Jeacoma (Bob Gaudio) on September 15 in Syracuse, NY. He joins a company that includes Matthew Dailey (Tommy DeVito), Aaron De Jesus (Frankie Valli) and Keith Hines (Nick Massi) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella. JERSEY BOYS will return to the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN October 25-30.

LA Chamber Orchestra to Present West Coast Debut of Schoenberg's SCATTER

Rising French conductor Alexandre Bloch, principal guest conductor of Dusseldorf Symphoniker, makes his Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra debut conducting the West Coast premiere of Adam Schoenberg's Scatter, a triple concerto written for and featuring genre-defying PROJECT Trio, on Saturday, November 12, 8 pm, Alex Theatre, and Sunday, November 13, 2016, 7 pm, Royce Hall.

Ghostly Post-Holocaust Chamber Opera LADY OF THE CASTLE Set for TNC

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, and The After Dinner Opera Company present two musical tales of Jewish humor and heartbreak. The evening of opera begins with a 20-minute curtain raiser, Seymour Barab's raucous, off-color opera vaudeville From Oy to Vey.

Full Casting Announced for Print Room at The Coronet's THE TEMPEST Starring Kevin McMonagle and Charlotte Brimble

The full cast for Print Room at the Coronet's The Tempest is today announced. Directed by Simon Usher, who garnered critical acclaim for his Hamlet at Belgrade Coventry and his Timon of Athens, Pericles and The Winter's Tale at Leicester Haymarket, this is the first staging of Shakespeare by the Notting Hill Gate venue. Design is by Lee Newby.

BWW Review: SoLuna's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

A delightful Little Shop of Horrors is the latest offering from Long Island's SoLuna Studio. Based on the classic 1960 film, writer Howard Ashman pens - and writes the lyrics for - the theatre staple's heartfelt story and Alan Menken's music is a fun fusion of 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and Motown. You will probably be familiar with the score's popular tunes including the title song and 'Suddenly, Seymour'. The Hauppauge venue's enjoyable incarnation runs through October 30th and Artistic Director Karen Braun excellently directs the talented cast who effortlessly delivers in each of their performances.
